The Technology Department provides a wide range of innovative subjects that cover business skills, accounting, financial literacy, computing skills applications and programming. We aim to use state of the art computing software, hardware and business resources to provide students with relevant skills to succeed in this age of technological progress. Our staff are committed to learning new programs and remaining abreast of business and technology developments to ensure that students who study in this field have information and skills that equip them to succeed in the real world.
Business Education and Information Technology Subjects:
Year 8
Throughout Year 8 Business concepts and Information Technology skills are integrated throughout the Core Subject areas (English, Maths Science, PE, Sose).
This process of integration allows students to acquire and consolidate basic IT and Business skills and concepts in a relevant and meaningful context.
