STUDENTS
Best wishes to all of our Year 12 students who graduate at the end of next week. All Year 12s need to be in attendance on that day. The school is proud of the Year 12s and we know that they will move into the world prepared to line up to their potential. Thank you to our Year 12 parents who this year have their last contact with the school as parents. It has been a pleasure to work with you and your students.

STAFFING
Mr Jeff Hicks is replacing Mr Brett Jones as Head of Department (Mathematics) for the remainder of 2010. Mr Jones is taking some well deserved Long Service Leave.
CURRICULUM
Students in Year 12 start their final exams after Wednesday this week and only need to attend school for their tests. They will all have a Maths Test on Thursday, 19 November, and then be required to attend school on Friday, 20 November from 11:15 am until approximately 12:15 pm. Exit certificates will be available for collection on Friday, 4 December.
Students in Years 10 & 11 will have their final assessment items over the next 3 weeks and will leave school for the year on Friday, 27 November. Year 10 and 11 Semester Reports will be available for collection from Student Services on Monday, 7 December.
Year 8 & 9 students start their blocked assessment on Monday, 3 December and their Semester Reports will be distributed on Thursday, 10 December.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Congratulations to Instrumental Music Students and Choir Members on their great performances at the Music Celebration Night last Friday night in the Town Hall. It was an excellent night of entertainment so well done students, teachers and parents. Thank you for the contribution that you have made to many school and community events in 2009.
SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
A meeting of the Advisory Committee for the Performing Arts Building was held on Monday. Fundraising by the school and Parents’ and Citizens’ Association is underway and funds are being put away for this facility which will benefit the school and entire community.
