CURRICULUM
Year 12 students are preparing for their final tests which will be held starting on Thursday, 12 November. I encourage our Year 12’s to finish the year strongly by doing their best to improve their results with good performances in the final assessment tasks.
SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
Sports Night is on at 7:00 pm tonight in the Assembly Hall. Our Guest Speaker this year is Mrs Christine Patch. Mrs Patch was an extremely gifted school girl athlete and she will have an inspirational message for our school community. I hope to see you there.
Our Special Guest for Speech Night, Archbishop John Bathersby, was most impressed with the conduct and achievements of our students. His address to our school was interesting and inspirational. If you would like a copy, it is posted on the school’s website, or you could ask for a copy from the School’s Office. An extract from his address is included in this newsletter.
The South Burnett Little Athletics are having a Relay Carnival using the school’s oval on Sunday, 8 November, and the P&C Auxiliary is catering for the day. Volunteers are needed to help on that day so please contact the Canteen Convenor, Mrs Lorraine Argent, if you can help for some time on that day.
