All students wishing to enrol at Kingaroy State High School are required to attend an interview with a parent/caregiver. This includes students commencing Year 7, and also includes students from local feeder schools.


Additionally all Year 10 students wishing to enrol in Year 11, regardless of whether they are at Kingaroy SHS in Year 10 or not MUST complete a SET Plan Interview to be enrolled in Year 11.


 The enrolment process:

Step 1

Collect enrolment pack (enrolment forms, booklists, prospectus, general information) by visiting the School between 8am and 4pm on any work day or by ringing to ask for information.

Step 2


Contact the school through the Enrolments Officer, Tarnya, (41600 629)to make an enrolment interview time (Year 7-10 with one of the Deputy Principals).


Step 3


Complete enrolment forms and fill in any relevant subject selection forms/set plan sheets. Bring a copy of the student's Birth Certificate that will be kept on file at Kingaroy SHS.


Step 4


Complete the interview.


Step 5


Start the following school day (or at a time negotiated at the interview).
