Kingaroy State High School is extremely grateful to everyone who has availed themselves of the opportunity to attend and experience the Year 12 hospitality students' luncheon. The Hospitality students continue to wow and amaze everyone with their skills in presentation, service and product quality over the last couple of weeks with their fabulous meals.
The Certificate II in Hospitality through Kingaroy State High School provides students with the knowledge and skills for an individual to be competent in a range of basic food and service activities in a hospitality context. This qualification emphasises the practical and theoretical skills you would need to work "Front of House" in the hospitality industry in a café or restaurant.
Operating these luncheons has allowed the students to showcase their skills and newly acquired techniques under the watchful eye of their teacher, Mrs Hutton. However, without the work of Mrs Want and the Year 12 Hospitality Practices students in the school’s trade training kitchen the students would not have such fabulous meals to serve.
