On Thursday, 5 October, the Year 11 and 12 Geography class travelled to Noosa to complete field work for their current unit, Living with Climate Change.  The students explored the beach surrounds of the Noosa National Park area and Main Beach at Noosa Heads to postulate about the future effect of increasing sea levels and cyclonic activity on the natural and built environment.
The students were involved in a diverse range of activities including research into the property values of Hastings Street and Noosa Sound, observations of wave patterns around Laguna Bay and measuring the slopes of Main Beach and Alexandria Bay.
