Junior Secondary is an exciting phase of education in Queensland. It encompasses Year 7,8 & 9. At Kingaroy State High School we will add to our Junior Secondary phase with the incoming Year 7 students in 2015.
The purpose of the Junior Secondary phase of education is to provide a bridge between Primary and Secondary education that is strong, purposeful, consistent and safe. This is achieved through the distinct identity of the phase, quality teaching, local decision making, student wellbeing being catered for, strong leadership and strong parent and community involvment.
This page is aimed to keep you up-to-date on all things Junior Secondary.
There will be information added progressively about curriculum, daily organisation, frequently asked questions, junior secondary precinct, extra-curricular opportunities, lunch time activities and the many more aspects of what junior secondary at Kingaroy High is about.
There are several other pages (Queensland Government policy, Students, Infrastructure, Newsletters and others) to keep you informed.
