Kingaroy State High School P&C is a group of parents who come together with the hope of making a difference to the school community. It is a great way to meet like minded people and be involved in projects that improve the learning environment for students at the school.
P&C Meetings
The Kingaroy State High School P&C Association meet at 6pm on the 4th Tuesday of every month, unless otherwise indicated. The meetings occur in the Community Building. Meetings generally range from 1 to 1 ½ hours.
Occasionally other meetings may occur. These meetings include an ‘Executive Meeting’ or a ‘Special Meeting.’ Any minutes of these meetings are shared at the General Monthly Meeting.

Role of the Association
- Assist in promoting 'Parents as Partners'.
- Provide a forum for close cooperation between parents, community, staff and students.
- To enable feedback to be given on school policies and activities.
- To provide resources to enhance student learning and improve the school environment.
- To give opportunity for parents to be involved in their child's education and the broader school community.
What is “parent engagement in education"? It is about families, school and community working in partnership to ensure positive educational, emotional and social outcomes for children.

Canteen
The Canteen is open school days from 7:30am until 2pm, providing a service to students and staff before school and during meal breaks.
