Kingaroy State High School offers three Student Resource Schemes:
- SRS Textbook and Resources: $220/year
- One-to-One Device Hire: $300/year
- Instrumental Music Program: $30/year
These schemes aim to provide parents with a convenient, cost-effective alternative to purchasing individual textbooks, resources, and devices for their students. Participation is optional, and there is no obligation for parents to join. However, parents who choose not to participate must supply their student with all required items as outlined by the school.
Parents can pay the annual fee based on their chosen scheme, either as a full payment or through an agreed payment plan. If a student enrols mid-year, a pro-rata fee may be applied. The terms and conditions for participation are listed on the reverse side of the form.
Computers and Technology
Kingaroy State High School has various programs and policies to support the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the classroom. To help students develop these skills, the school offers three options: BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), participation in the One-to-One Device Scheme (yearly hire) or Daily Hire of a laptop from our iLibrary. Every student is expected to bring a device that meets the minimum specification to enhance their learning.
Families unable to provide a device are encouraged to schedule a meeting with the relevant Deputy Principal to explore available options. For more information, parents can email BYOD@kingaroyshs.eq.edu.au
